Once upon a time there was a man. This man was responsible for dozens of concurrently running projects. His boss was extremely reliant on data and this caused the man to be very busy. Over time a colleague who had been observing this man and his quest to please his Boss had noticed a pattern of problems.
And his problems were always the same:
- Having to reinforce one project at the expense of others whilst constantly trying to avoid catastrophic consequences.
- Having to tell sales people, who were constantly pushing him, when he might be able to take on new projects.
- Constantly explaining to the management what everyone was doing and that everyone was working to full capacity.
- Finally having to double check the current status of the projects he was running: Which projects are in a “green zone” and which projects already have precursors of possible failure. And which projects have precursors that are not quiet visible yet!
Both of these men have successfully run and delivered hundreds of projects throughout their careers and they fully understand the necessity for a tool which brings a “Birds eye view” of multiple concurrently running projects to the workplace. They searched for a product that would help them collate all of the information they needed into one easy to view environment and enable them to compare multiple live projects with each other. It needed to be clean, simple, easy to set up and functional. They searched and searched….. It didn’t exist!!
This was not a bad thing or indeed the end of the story. For these two men pooled their skills, drew on their experience and created ProjectsProfiler!!! Who better to develop the ultimate reporting tool for the Project Management sector than the people who use it every day!!!
That’s how the ProjectsProfiler was born.
