Study problems with a certain job

To get a bigger picture:


1.Refresh project data if necessary by clicking Refresh button on the toolbar.
2.Choose Projects, Employees mode in the navigation panel.
3.In the "Layer cake" diagram review the workload profile of your staff. Learn more...
4.Problem periods are highlighted with red on the time scale. If an object with problems is selected in the navigation panel, the corresponding red areas are shown up among rest.
5.To study how certain projects (or employees) impact on the diagram profile use the Eye icon. Click on the icon located next to the object to hide or show the information about this object on the diagram. Learn more...

 


To study a certain project in detail:


1.Select a name of the project you want to study on the navigation panel.
2.Study project summary in the properties panel:
"Period" — target dates of the project. A date shown in brackets is the forecasted date of project completion calculated by ProjectsProfiler on the basis of the actual progress. If a forecasted date is later than the target date it is highlighted with red.
"Hours completed" - an amount and percentage of work done to the overall volume that must be done ​​in the project (planned). If project data import is made considering employees efficiency, the value of planned volumes in ProjectsProfiler and in the external system may differ. Learn more...
"Tasks completed" — a number of tasks completed (tasks from a plan composed in an external system) and a percentage of the completed tasks to the planned tasks;
"Engaged"— a number of project members scheduled for work. Inactive employees are counted only if the Inactive employees flag is set. Learn more...
3.Study revealed problems on the properties panel.
4.Choose the Projects, Jobs on the navigation panel. Learn more...
5.In the "Hotdogs" diagram study the  status of project jobs. Grey lines on "sausages" show whether the particular job is ahead or behind the plan. Learn more...
6.On the navigation panel choose Projects, Milestones mode.
7.Study milestones progress information. A summary is displayed when your mouse is over the status indicator of the milestone on the navigation panel. Complete information (overview) is displayed in the properties panel if a milestone is selected:

8.Switch to the system from which the project has been imported from for a more detailed study. You can make it directly from the ProjectsProfiler window — just follow the link Downloaded from at the lower part of the project properties panel.
